What happened to bullshoving?
In the olden days, when we would hit the road, get onto the Ohel bus, or just sitting around, it would be alive. and now, we have other living for us. are we really not capeable of bullshoving that we need people to do it for us?
There used to be a time when guys would just sit down and talk. Nothing official, no plan—just a regular bullshove. Someone would throw out a random thought, someone else would disagree, another would make a joke, and it just kept going. You could sit like that for hours without even realizing it.
Honestly, that’s how people actually learned to think. You had to come up with your own ideas, react to others, and say things even if they weren’t perfect. It wasn’t about sounding smart—it was just about being part of the conversation.
Now it feels like that whole thing is disappearing. Instead of sitting and talking, everyone’s just listening to podcasts. It’s like instead of having your own bullshove, you’re listening to others do it. It’s basically the same thing—just without your involvement.
Sure, some of them are interesting, but it’s still not the same. You’re just sitting there listening while others go back and forth. You’re not arguing, you’re not adding anything; you’re just taking it in. It feels like you’re part of it, but you really aren’t.
Also, how did it become that literally anyone can start a podcast? It seems like every random guy with a mic suddenly has a show. Not every conversation needs to be recorded and put out there; more than half of it is just normal bullshove that used to stay between a few guys.
(Altho, some are actualy incredibly good)
At the end of the day, it feels like we’ve replaced actual talking with just listening. Maybe instead of always putting something on, it would be better to sit down with a few people and have a normal conversation again.
